🎨 Howard Payne University Spring 2026 Student Art Exhibit

Howard Payne University invites the community to experience the creativity of its students at the Spring 2026 Student Art Exhibit. On display from April 23 through May 15, this exhibit showcases a diverse collection of work created throughout the academic year, featuring pieces from courses such as Contemporary Crafts, Ceramics I, Drawing I, and Drawing II. Visitors can explore a wide range of mediums including linoleum block prints, handmade books, weaving, ceramics, and detailed drawings in graphite, ink, charcoal, colored pencil, and pastel.

✨ Creative Talent & Inspiring Spaces

Hosted by HPU’s Department of Art, the exhibit is located in the Dorothy and Wendell Mayes Art Gallery inside the Doakie Day Art Center. An opening reception will be held on April 23 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., where guests can also tour Studios 1 and 2 at the Art Annex to see student works in progress. The exhibit offers a unique opportunity to connect with local artists and experience the vibrant creative community at HPU.

🎟️ Admission & Event Info

The exhibit is open to the public and free to attend. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Visitors are encouraged to stop by during the opening reception or throughout the exhibit’s run to support and celebrate student artists.
