π Earth Day Shoreline Cleanup at Lake Brownwood State Park
In honor of Earth Day, the community is invited to roll up their sleeves and make a difference at Lake Brownwood State Parkβs newest property. Volunteers will take part in a shoreline cleanup, helping remove litter and protect the natural beauty of this undeveloped area. While the terrain may be a bit rugged, the impact will be worth it as participants work together to preserve the park for future generations. The Friends of Lake Brownwood State Park will kick off the morning by providing breakfast to fuel the effort before volunteers head out along the shoreline.
πΏ Fresh Air & Meaningful Impact
Hosted at Lake Brownwood State Park, this hands-on event gives nature lovers a chance to explore a new section of the park while giving back. The park will provide trash bags, trash pickers, and gloves, though volunteers are welcome to bring their own gear if preferred. Participants should come prepared with water, closed-toe shoes, and protective clothing suitable for uneven terrain. Volunteers will meet at Park Headquarters before heading to the cleanup site.
